KG/Kasia (and the art space)

Who am I and why KGxArtSpace? Let me explain (and introduce myself): 

I am Kasia and KG is an acronym of my full name. And this is my little art space in the net! :'D

I am self-taught artist who's became and illustrator by accident ;) In 2010 I had to drop my pedagogy studies because of health problems. Drawing was always my "happy place" - my way to unwind and express. So that time I clinged to it for dear life and that changed everything. For the first time I started to share my art online. Everytime someone told me that my art made them smile, I kept realizing this is what I love. Doing what makes me happy to makes other people happy too - that's a dream I keep chasing - even in genAI boom world!

In 2014 I took my first commissions and since then I worked for individual clients, small business owners and indie game studios. From 2022 I work in small Polish game studio as 2D Artist.
 

In my free time I like playing with traditional media, especially watercolors. When not playing with watercolors, I play video games... and then draw fanarts ;)

My goal for now is to make a coloring and activity book with cats that encourages people to take a better care of themselves, believe in their potential and learn how to boost their own creativity. It's a slow but steady progress!

Also, I have an idea of mixing art, cats and the space... ;)
